One of the better spyware cleaners on the market today that is both feature rich and easy to use. Priced under twenty bucks users will get plenty of value from Maxion Spy Killer. The only real draw back from this product is the lack of regular updates which happen several times a year versus say every other week with the more popular programs like Spy Sweeper or Counter Spy.

Spy Killer is packed with useful features that can help keep your pc free of unwanted spyware and adware. The program offers Internet home page hijacking preventions, a pop up blocker, real time protection (called active system shield) and malware protection from more than 1200 known spyware and adware apps. Spyware Killers also can configured to scan when a computer boots.

Spyware Killer is “good product” I think other products that are price similarly are a better value (look into Counter Spy). However the program does get a thumbs up for ease of use and a strong set of features. If SpywareKiller offers more updates I would rank it higher however three to four updates a year is just not enough to stay ahead of the game when it comes to keeping a pc spyware free.
