Hijacked Bt Broadband Homepage - Use HiJackThis

Often times the creators of spyware / adware will attempt to take control of a users internet browser in order to sell advertising to companies based on traffic to a certain website. One such hijack that has been posted by several users who have been effected by the bt broadband homepage hijack involves a tricky hi jack that is both hard to remove and can greatly reduce pc performance.
Users report being directed to a prosearching.com, DO NOT VISIT THIS SITE … doing so may result in your pc being attacked by either adware or spyware. Users also report after the hijack that a “new search bar” appeared on their computers.
